Founded by Mohamed Zeidan (Engineer, Entrepreneur, CEO), his wife Sara (Design & Event Manager; MBA), and their partner Sam Amen (Entrepreneur, Manager) in 2016, the idea behind La Fork was to offer a unique dining experience with a diverse and thoughtful menu. As longtime restauranters, our dream was to bring the community of Dearborn an aesthetically beautiful space along with a wide range of menu items inspired by our international roots. And with deep ties to our community, we cater to each and every customer.
Having grown up in West Africa and France, our background has inspired several menu items, including our ever-popular, award-winning crepes, a family recipe that has been perfected over generations, as well as our Quebec-inspired poutine.

From specialty coffees and teas to fresh salads, to delectable wraps and burgers, milkshakes, ice cream and even poutine and crepes, we want you to not only have options when you order, but to enjoy trying something you may have never had before. And we make all of our dishes fresh, in-house daily, along with all of our sauces and seasonings.
La Fork is the perfect place to host your special event, like baby showers, birthday parties and even private brunches. We even host tea parties that are simply magical for little ones and adults alike! We work with you to create a custom menu for you and your guests to make your experience memorable. And our colorful interior aesthetic is ideal for all of those special photos to capture your event!
We can even cater your special events, including corporate events and wedding receptions for 100 people or more, along with crepe catering where you can build your own crepes to you and your guests’ likings.
Our main dish consists of the authentic Quebec classic Poutine, which is the combination of fresh cut fries, cheese curds & gravy. Our love for this classic Canadian dish fueled our drive to create a new and unique dining experience.
